Dr. Tausif Monif
President – Global Operations
Dr. Tausif has rich experience spanning more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. He is an experienced senior executive providing strategic advice in clinical research leadership roles.
As a CRO and pharmaceutical executive, he is known for fostering long-term relationships, driving innovation, and generating new business opportunities. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, integration, business planning, and change management.
While in the Pharmaceutical Industry, he played an integral role in obtaining multiple marketing authorizations in the US, the EU, and other markets. His role also included overseeing their Clinical site Operations in Eastern Europe.
Throughout his career, he has worked in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while building positive relationships with clients, colleagues, senior corporate management, and other professionals. In his last position, he was Vice President of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics at Sun Pharmaceuticals, where he significantly contributed to the company's New Drug Development efforts. Throughout his distinguished career, he has published many articles and earned academic accreditations.
Dr. Mrinal Kammili
Executive Director & Global Head - Business Development
Dr. Kammili possesses more than 22 years of combined industry experience, in Hospital and Clinical Research domains in the Health Care Industry. Dr. Kammili is ICH-GCP certified, well versed in Indian and International Regulatory guidelines applicable to Bioequivalence and Bioavailability studies, Phase 1, Phase II-IV Trials, Medical Writing, Data Management, Pharmacovigilance and Medical Imaging.
Presently, Dr. Kammili is a member on the Board of Directors and Global Head–Business Development for International (US / EU / Turkey / S.E. Asia / ROW and Emerging) markets and Indian domestic market.
He is actively involved in all M&A activities of Lambda group of companies and as a successful P&L executive, has built and managed teams to deliver stretched goals with high profitability by creating improved systems, processes and synergies within the organizations to build efficiencies, credibility and trust among the stakeholders.
Apart from the Clinical Research Domain, Dr. Kammili is also a trained Intensivist, having assisted in various Interventional Cardiac emergency procedures like Primary Angioplasties, Coronary Angiograms, and Thrombolytic therapies.
He is also a certified Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider by the American Heart Association.
Dr. Prashant Kale
Senior Vice President - India BA/BE Operations
Dr. Kale has 27 years of immense experience in the analytical and bioanalytical domain. Dr. Kale is awarded with a Ph.D. (Chemistry) and also possess an MBA degree. He has numerous publications to his credit. He has been with Lambda for over 19 years. Prior to Lambda he was associated with SGS India Ltd. Presently, Dr. Kale is functioning as a Senior Vice President – BE Operations with Lambda Therapeutic Research and is responsible for the technical and administrative functions of the BE unit located at Ahmedabad, Mehsana and Mumbai, India. He is also responsible for bioanalytical laboratory at Toronto, Canada. Dr. Kale has faced several regulatory audits and inspections from leading regulatory bodies including but not limited to DCGI, USFDA, ANVISA, Health Canada, UK MHRA, Turkey MoH, WHO.
Dr. Nirav Gandhi
Senior Vice President – India Operations (CTM, CDM, PV, MA & Imaging)
Dr. Gandhi is a clinical pharmacologist (MD, pharmacology) with 20 yrs of experience in the field of clinical research, medical services and was holding senior management role in different organisations.
He was a Founder president of Acctuest Research Laboratory, one of the leading CRO in India. During his journey for 15 years with accutest, he was responsible for leadership & for ensuring a quality culture, financial probity & crisis management. He played an instrumental role to establish clinical trial (late phase) division at accutest. Under his leadership accutest got majority of regulatory approvals.
He is a good blend of technical, regulatory and commercial knowledge for the conduct of overall projects. He is a skilled instructor & project leader, able to direct multiple projects effectively even when operating in fast-paced, high pressure settings. Strong believer in systems & processes and has a strong niche for process improvement.
Dr. Gandhi also worked with major Indian pharma like Cipla, Torrent & Intas pharma and left his footprints in these organizations by establishing new systems & processes.
Vice President – Information Technology
Mr. Manmeet Singh as part of Lambda Therapeutics Limited is responsible to lead the Information Technology function globally including its subsidiary Novum USA and Canada As Vice President and Head of Information Technology function he is responsible for the management of IT infrastructure, IT security, software applications, enterprise systems and user support management globally. Further he will play a crucial role to benchmark and implement the latest industry practices and ensure that Lambda as an organization continues to be one of the leaders in the industry.
Manmeet holds a Master’s degree in Information Management from Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR) Mumbai and further has completed his Senior Management Programme from IIM-Calcutta. He brings with him industry experience of over 21 year which is balanced well with a blend of both technical and leadership roles. Manmeet in his professional career has been associated with organization like Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd, Reliance Life Sciences and Satyam Computers where has gained expertise in digitalization & implementation of large-scale business transformation projects across multiple geographies
Manmeet as a person loves to lead a simplistic life has and believes that his mantra of success is dedication and hard work which should be further combined with transparency and keenness to learn and evolve.
Head of Finance & Purchase
As Head Finance and Purchase, Naresh Khemani is responsible for all of the company’s financial functions including accounting, audit, taxation, treasury, corporate finance, procurement and merger and acquisition. In this role, he provides enterprise leadership regarding matters involving capital allocation, financial reporting, planning and executive decision-making. His career spans more than 17 years of varied experience in financial management, contract management, business planning and corporate strategy.
Before joining Lambda in January 2007, Naresh served as senior consultant in tax, audit and accounting consultancy firm in Ahmedabad. Prior to that he served middle management role for a multinational royal Dutch conglomerate Shell Oil Ltd. and Information Systems Associates Ltd. – Comstar, an IT infrastructure services company.
